This from CDS (www.cd-services.com) in response to a customer's enquiry. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - It is true that a lot of the majors are employing this technology on their CD's, and you can't blame them really. It is a relatively inexpensive process to have your CD's made this way now, so I guess more will follow in the not too distant future. However, we feel there is only a point to be made for using the tecnology on the big market sellers, so to be honest, that really leaves 'EM' and most of the titles we offer here, well out of the running. In our opinion - once you have bought a CD from us, you have paid your royalty to the artist / record company concerned, so apart from using it as a master to manufacture and sell loads of copies, you can do what you like with it. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
